Plant recovery and low loader operators in the BlackBox Auto network
Machinery breaks down on site, gets stuck in mud or has to move to the next job. Low loader operators that join the network move excavators, telehandlers, rollers and dumpers, and recover machines that cannot drive onto the trailer. BlackBox Auto takes the call and arranges the right trailer.

How it works with BlackBox Auto
- You call BlackBox Auto. One number for the breakdown, the accident or the move. Tell us where the vehicle is and what has happened.
- We recover or dispatch. Our own trucks recover cars and vans. Where a specialist is the right answer, we arrange one and stay your point of contact.
- The partner does the work. Listed partners quote their own work to you before it starts. BlackBox Auto quotes the recovery or transport separately, so you always know who you are paying for what.

Questions
- What machines can you move?
- Anything a low loader or beavertail can carry: mini and midi excavators, telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, forklifts. Give us the make, model and weight.
- Do wide loads need an escort?
- Loads over the standard width need notification and sometimes an escort. The operator plans this and tells you the cost.
- Can you recover a machine that will not start?
- Yes, with a winch-equipped trailer. Tell us whether it can roll and whether the tracks are free.
